The origins of ChemProtect date back to around 2005, when a group of world-leading experts in antidote protection, toxicology, and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) defense, together with investors and innovators, envisioned introducing unique products to the market. Their mission was to develop solutions primarily focused on first aid for nerve agent poisoning — solutions capable of meeting the specific operational requirements of armed forces and Integrated Rescue Systems.
After several years of research, development, and innovation, ChemProtect a.s. was founded in 2008, focusing primarily on the development of a single-purpose autoinjector containing the HI‑6 oxime. However, this antidote – or more precisely, the autoinjector – had a narrow application and did not fully meet market needs.
To address this, ChemProtect.SK s.r.o. was subsequently founded. In collaboration with leading partners and industry experts, the company concentrated on optimizing and producing a broader portfolio of antidotes and autoinjectors designed for first aid in cases of nerve agent exposure and pain management.
In 2015, ChemProtect introduced its first successful product lines — the SINGLEPEN and DOUBLEPEN autoinjectors — marking a major breakthrough. Within a short time, the company became one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of autoinjectors for nerve agent poisoning and pain relief, serving armies and armed forces globally. By the end of 2016, ChemProtect had become the main supplier of autoinjectors to dozens of NATO member states and allied countries. Today, our products are delivered to more than 30 countries worldwide.
As the market continued to evolve, new demands emerged — not only for the autoinjector devices themselves, but also for advanced drug formulations.
The year 2025 marks a significant milestone in our history. As of November 1, 2025, ChemProtect.SK has officially merged with ChemProtect.CZ, consolidating expertise and innovation under one name. The company now enters a new era, launching a new generation of advanced autoinjectors — SINGLEPEN 2.0 and DOUBLEPEN 2.0 — along with entirely new products such as the unique three-component autoinjector MELORIX and a novel autoinjector designed for first aid in cases of massive traumatic bleeding.
